Business Challenge Deposit Scheme Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the deposit scheme in place for organisations entering the Business Challenge element of Events staged by The Great Run Company Ltd. There are separate General Terms & Conditions of Event Entry and Participation. All General Terms & Conditions of Event Entry and Participation apply to Business Challenge participants unless otherwise stated in these Terms & Conditions.

General

1.1. The Great Run Company Ltd may, at its sole discretion, offer organisations the opportunity to reserve Entries into the Event by paying a deposit. This is referred to as the Business Challenge Deposit Scheme.

1.2. A separate payment-in-full option is also available to organisations entering the Business Challenge.

1.3. For the avoidance of doubt Entries are not deemed to have been purchased until full and final payment has been made for the Entries by the organisation.

1.4. The Great Run Company Ltd will publish deadlines by which full payment must be paid by the organisation on its website. These deadlines will be specific to each Event.

1.5. Failure to make full payment by the stated deadline will result in forfeiture of all Entries for which a deposit has been paid, and forfeiture of the deposit.

1.6. If an Organisation chooses to use the Business Challenge Deposit Scheme, the organisation will receive two invoices from The Great Run Company Ltd:

1.6.1 An invoice for the deposit that will be due for immediate payment.

1.6.2 An invoice for the balance that will be due at a later date.

1.7. The organisation is responsible for communicating any changes in Entry numbers to The Great Run Company ahead of the balance due date. This can be done by contacting us at businesschallenge@greatrun.org

1.8. Upon receipt of any changes in Entry numbers, The Great Run company will either:

1.8.1. invoice for additional Entries at the current entry price

1.8.2 Or issue a credit note (not including the deposit), which will reduce the total outstanding.

1.9. For the avoidance of doubt, deposits are not refundable under any circumstances. If Entry numbers are decreased by the organisation, the deposit for the Entries which are no longer required will not be refunded.

1.10. Additional Entries can only be purchased if Entries have not sold out for the Event.

1.11. Entries will be allocated to the Organisation only after payment of the full cost of the Entries.

1.12. In addition to making full payment, the organisation will be required to complete an Entry Form for each participant in order to secure the Entry.

1.13 Entries cannot be eligible for transfer, refund, or use in other Great Run Company Events.
