The AJ Bell Junior & Mini Great Scottish Run is back on Saturday 4 October 2025. Starting and finishing in the city centre, the popular kids’ events give budding running stars of the future a taste of the big event experience, and a finish line feeling they won’t forget. Toddlers, Minis and Juniors are all welcome to take on our Toddler Dash, 1.5km race or 2.5km supercharged sprint – and have plenty of fun while you’re doing it. Music blasting? Check. Phenomenal local support? Check. All we need now is *you*.
Stars of the UK hit show Gladiators will be the official starters for this year’s event. They’ll be on hand to ring the famous starters bell and cheer on our young runners – stay tuned to find out which Gladiators will be coming to the start line.

Toddler Dash (Up to 3 yrs) and Mini entrants (3-8 yrs) must run with a parent, each child should be entered into the event. Junior entrants (9-15 yrs) do not need to be accompanied by an adult although this can be requested upon entry if required, each child should be entered into the event.
