The AJ Bell Junior & Mini Great Scottish Run will be back in 2026. From the Mini (ages 3–8) 1.6km dash to the Junior (9–15) 2.5km challenge, it’s your chance to take on the challenge, soak up the atmosphere and discover your superpower all over again. Whether you’re running for fun, fundraising for a cause, or chasing your personal best, the AJ Bell Junior and Mini Great Scottish Run is the perfect stage for young runners to shine. We were really sorry that this year’s Junior & Mini Great Scottish Run was cancelled due to the forecasted high winds and rain. All participants were sent an email with details about how they can roll their entry over into next year’s event or claim a refund. We know how much this event means to our runners, so going to send the event medal to all Junior, Mini and Toddler Dash participants via post – we’ll get these delivered as soon as we can but please allow a couple of weeks.
Toddler Dash (Up to 3 yrs) and Mini entrants (3-8 yrs) must run with a parent, each child should be entered into the event. Junior entrants (9-15 yrs) do not need to be accompanied by an adult although this can be requested upon entry if required, each child should be entered into the event.
